Tournament Format

Round-Robin, top 4 teams go into Semi-Finals, top 2 into Finals.

Tournament Fee

RM 5 per player. Please pay cash at Registration.
Player Eligibilty

A player may only play in ONE category.
Team Attire

Each team should be suitably dressed with shoes, jerseys, shorts/track pants. Each team should have 2 choices of jerseys, one WHITE and one COLOURED.
Prizes

Efforts are being made to secure some prizes :P You get to walk off the field pumped up with adrenaline and disc-ful of satisfaction. Howaboutdat?

Food

BYOG - Bring your own grub. Lunch is NOT provided.
Drinks

BYODI - Bring your own drinks and ice. Bring lots of water, get Oral Rehydration Salts(ORS) from pharmacies to avoid cramps.

Guardian/Jusco sells sachets for 60cents. 100+ has sugar, but not enough salts and electrolytes, unless you choose Power Plus which makes your tongue pink (cranberry flavour, non-carbonated).

Suggestion: Mix salts/ORS with your 100+ or Excel isotonic drink.

Sunscreen

Bring your own sunscreen/sunblock, cap or hat. Tanning lotion/beach or deck chairs are not compulsory.

Intervals

Lunch & prayer time is not scheduled. Teams will have their lunch/prayer when their teams are resting in between games.

Novice Men & Women

  • Divided into Men's & Women Categories

  • Maximum 12 players in a team

  • Duration of Game : 15 minutes

  • Game Format : 7 on 7

  • Tournament Format : Round-Robin, top 4 teams go into Semi-Finals, top 2 into Finals.

  • Size of field : Half of regulation size i.e. 64m by 17m rectangle called the playing field, with an 18m by 17m rectangle called an endzone aligned along each of the 17m sides. Refer picture below.



Open Category

1. Game Time: 40 minutes or 11 points, whichever comes first. No Half time. 1 timeout per team.

If the game has not ended by 40 mins, the current point is played on till a team scores. If the result of the point is a draw, another point is played. Whoever wins the point, wins the game.

Example, if the score is 10-11 in the 41st minute, the current point is played on till a team scores. If the score becomes 11-11, another point is played. Whoever reaches scores the next point to reach 12, wins the game.

2. Timeout: Maximum duration of 2 mins.

3. Team size: Maximum of 17 players.

4. Field size: Regulation field is 64m by 37m, with end zones 18m deep.

5. Team ratio: To be agreed by captains of both teams. A team can choose to field 7 men if their team does not have any women.
